V&A Waterfront's beam of hope

V&A Waterfront has used the festive season as a platform to showcase stories of light, celebrate hope and spread Joy from Africa to the World.

Instead of fireworks, they shone a beam of hope from thee neighbourhood which, on clear nights, was visible throughout the city and suburbs that have a view of the city bowl.

The beam symbolised the lives that were lost, the jobs that were affected, the coming together of a nation in solidarity and ultimately for hope in the new year.
